Who is behind Greenlight Check
Accessibility should not exclude – and legal certainty should remain affordable. Greenlight Check grew out of this conviction.
About the founder
Florian Rust – the person behind Greenlight Check
The internet belongs to everyone. People with a visual, hearing, motor or cognitive impairment have the same right to find their way around online as anyone else. That is exactly what I work on – while at the same time making sure that website and shop operators are prepared for the coming legal requirements in good time and without panic.
I myself live with several minor impairments – none dramatic on its own, but noticeable in everyday life when taken together. That is precisely why I know how quickly small barriers add up – and why a web that excludes no one makes a real difference for so many people.
I bring a solid understanding of building digital products – grown over the years through consistent work with AI-assisted programming across a series of my own projects. This combination of technology and practical implementation goes into every audit report: no buzzwords, but results you can genuinely put to use.
What we believe in
Accessibility is not paperwork, but genuine participation. We work out of conviction – and because it is the better business.
Your shop changes – not the law.
We won't tell you that the legal situation is constantly changing. It isn't: the testing standards are updated on yearly cycles. What changes constantly is your shop – every new product, every theme update can create new defects. That is why we recommend ongoing auditing only where it is really needed.
No false certificates.
Automated audits cover the automatically verifiable criteria – exactly those that matter most for accessibility – but not the complete catalogue. Anyone who sells you a "100% legally secure" seal is deceiving you. We tell you precisely what our audit does and does not do.
Understanding instead of impressing.
You don't get an 80-page technical appendix, but a prioritised list: what matters, what it brings your customers, and what exactly needs to be done – in language that both you and your web designer understand.
Together with disability organisations
Accessibility only succeeds with the people it concerns. That is why we actively seek collaboration with disability organisations in Switzerland and in Germany.
For every Standard audit report sold we want to pass on 10%, and for the Complete audit report with seal even 20% – directly to a recognised disability organisation. And our customers should be able to choose for themselves which organisation their contribution supports. In this way, every accessible website also becomes very concrete support for the people it concerns.
We are at the very beginning of this endeavour and are building up the collaboration right now. Do you represent a disability organisation? Then we warmly invite you to get in touch with us. It is important to us that this results in a clean, jointly agreed concept that brings real benefit to your cause – and no empty promises.
