Web accessibility is becoming mandatory in Switzerland (revised Disability Equality Act, expected from 2027). We check whether your website is ready.
Turning obligation into a green light.

Why Greenlight Check?

A fair question. The short answer: your webmaster can build and fix a website – but cannot tell you what exactly needs to be done and whether, in the end, it is really finished. That is exactly what we deliver: the diagnosis, the audit benchmark and the proof. The repair itself is still carried out by your webmaster.

Six reasons that make the difference

Explained honestly – so that you can decide for yourself whether the report is worthwhile for you.

1. "Make it accessible" is not a brief – it is a wish.

Without concrete specifications, your webmaster would have to guess what is meant and where to begin. Our report is the ready-made specification sheet: which defect, on which page, how to fix it – and in which order, sorted by importance. This lets them work through it in a targeted way, instead of first having to get up to speed and estimate (at your expense).

2. Your webmaster is an interested party.

They built the website – asking them "is it all right?" is like asking the cook whether the food tastes good. Accessibility is, moreover, specialist knowledge (WCAG, screen readers, EN 301 549) that an ordinary web developer usually does not have at all. An independent audit reveals exactly what gets overlooked internally.

3. Fixed costs instead of an open-ended bill.

A brief to "make the site accessible" has neither a limit nor an acceptance criterion – it can become expensive and endless. With our report as a clear specification sheet, you can compare quotes, sign off the work and have it confirmed through our free re-test.

4. Many websites have no webmaster at all.

If your shop runs on Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix or a website builder, there is no "tell the webmaster". Our report in plain language – which field, which setting – enables you to handle a great deal yourself, without an expensive agency. For every point we tell you whether you can implement it yourself or need your web designer.

5. The visible proof – which a self-declaration does not provide.

The fact that "the webmaster did it" is not seen by any visitor, any authority, anyone issuing a legal warning. Our seal after an independent re-test and ongoing monitoring are credible, visible evidence – trust and reassurance that an internal assurance cannot create. And because websites change with every update, a one-off fix expires; monitoring keeps your status up to date.

6. A fraction of the cost.

The Standard audit report costs CHF 249 – a fraction of blindly invested webmaster hours or a full agency audit, which quickly runs into four figures. It is the affordable first step that focuses the more expensive work in the first place. Anyone who wants the full scope with a certificate and a visible Greenlight seal chooses the Complete audit report (CHF 790) – and if you have already bought a Standard audit report beforehand, we deduct its CHF 249 from that. In addition, a fixed share of every report goes to organisations that support people with disabilities.

And honestly: who the report is less worthwhile for

Because we don't claim to be the right choice for everyone.

If you have a genuine accessibility expert in house and the time to run audit tools yourself, you need us less. The honest core of our offer is: independent diagnosis, a clear specification sheet, verifiable sign-off, visible proof and ongoing follow-through – the repair itself is still carried out by your webmaster. We don't sell the fixing, but the certainty of fixing the right things and being able to prove it.
